I love it. I absolutely love that Washburn received both the loss and Oakland's version of a shelling. I know it's selfish and mean-spirited, but the Mariners are the ones who made me this way, and at the end of the day the important thing is that I have something to smile about.

Best part about last night

is my row one the Pizza box race in the 2nd inning. And if you were there I was the idiot waving at the camera when the boxes were only about 1 person down from me.

I’m pretty sure no other team in baseball is paying 3 guys 30+million (with each of them making 8 million plus) for a .245 winning percentage out of 53 decisions.

Yes, I know, win-loss. I bet the combined tRA isn’t very good, either.

So, are we convinced yet that the Mariners don’t know how to evaluate pitching talent (beyond knowing Felix and Bedard are pretty good)?
