At any given baseball game, odds are exceedingly good that there is at least one guy in the stands who thought it would be a good idea to bring a date. Later tonight, that guy will be reflecting upon the worst decision he's ever made.

Well, at least this lineup is better than the abortion we saw last night.

Unfortunately this game probably isn’t going to finish in under two hours.

YA THINK?

Good lord, I didn’t like his chances for lasting long, but 16 pitches?

Why is it baffling....

that any orginization would constantly continue to bat one of the worst hitters in baseball 4th in the lineup, much less put him in the lineup period?

Why are you baffled at my baffling?

The question is how does one start as the 7 hitter

suck all kinds of balls, get benched, suck some more, reclaim his job, and get promoted to 3rd/4th.

That's what is so baffling

He continues to suck massively. He seems to be actually getting worse with every game. I am more baffled every day.

Yeah but nobody is scared of anyone in the lineup

A lineup devoid of not one hitter above the .800 OPS line has to give any pitcher confidence.

Yes.

This is why 2009 brings hope. 1B/DH/C/RF has been so bad that adding league average talent at all 4 positions would make this team good offensively.

I like to think of it as lineup performance art

throw in Kenji Johjima at DH (“Hey, we can’t slot our worst player at DH. How can we stretch out the joke?”)

Vidro batting 4th again huh?

BRB going to hit a pillow before I choke the life out of something living

FSN has no right to make fun of Blanton's weight

When they don’t say a damn word about Yuni or Vidro.

"Holy Shit, It's Steve Perry lead singer of Journey". "ha, FORMER Lead Singer."

They do this kind of thing all the time.

Generally, the other team’s bad players “are not very good” while our bad players “are struggling”.
