If Jarrod Washburn hasn't been traded by the ninth inning, Lee, you have failed as as general manager.

Living in the city (specifically Wicker Park or Ukrainian Village) is much more exciting.
I root for the two worst teams in baseball, non-ironically.
Ah, that clarifies things.
In that case, you’ll be alright. If you’re not familiar with Chicago, it’s pretty much the most kickass city in America. It’s got the best architecture/skyline of any city, and all the ethnic/musical/food/music variety of NYC at half the price.
I root for the two worst teams in baseball, non-ironically.
I've only driven through it once. Seemed nice.
But to above, if I’m working up north, does it make sense to live in the city or to live near work and commute when I feel like going to the city?
I'm not sure how far north Glenview is.
But when I lived there last fall, it took forever to get up to Evanston by train, or T or whatever they call it. There’s always construction going on, though I suppose it should be done sometime there. There was also a budget crisis every few months where they’d threaten to cut off routes, but get saved during the 11th hour by something.
Depends on what your job is and what you want out of life.
If you’re working the sorts of hours I will be as a lawyer, you’d want to live as close to work as possible until family considerations make that impossible. On the other hand, if you have more leisurely hours, it can be worth it to live in the city. That’s where ALL the real action is. If you like going out at all, you want to be in the city.
I root for the two worst teams in baseball, non-ironically.
Thanks. Exactly the sort of info I was looking for.
I won’t be taking the job if it requires lawyer-hours.
Also, get ready for a shitty, shitty commute if you work in the city.

Never seen a single thing he’s ever done. From what little I’ve read it sounds intolerable.
I root for the two worst teams in baseball, non-ironically.
I have a natural affinity for low-budget cheesy movies (see: MST3K)
When they’re also actually fucking hilarious it’s a great bonus.

I hate serious musicals
but love cheesy musicals with catchy whimsical songs.
There is exactly one serious musical that I really enjoy
My Fair Lady. Every single other one can go to hell.

I hate him for the times you hear the crowd roar as he's doing some intro and then he just transitions into a
super excited call like he’s calling it live instead of 30 seconds after it actually happened.
I had a really nice day today
Even had a good sandwich for lunch. But this game has left me completely demoralized and mopey.
Also: Youkilis’ right hand annoys me.
Perhaps a 'shop is in order, a stretch yuni/loafie cycle.

I'm almost excited when Tits gives up a hit because it means he threw a pitch somewhere near the strike zone.

Collect things on your katamari (ball) by rolling over them and get your ball to a specified size. Once the timer runs out
the king of all Cosmos takes it from you and places it into the sky as a star to replace the ones he destroyed
