Seattle Mariners batting stances, past and present
This starts good and gets even more hilarious.
Includes Ichiro, Edgar, Alvin Davis, Boone, Tartabull, Wilson, Buhner, Ibanez....and is beyond spot on.

Notable other words to fill my post: There is a whole series of these. This guy knows everything, I wonder if he practices them or what. You can check the related videos to see dozens more of them. Some of the highlights include Mo Vaughn (sox), Ryan Klesko (Braves), and Lenny Dykstra (mets).

You might want to add 75 words worth of real content before any of the mods see this.

Yeah, add 75 words in.
It’d be a shame to see you get in trouble over this post, because the video is hilarious.

I'd forgotten how hilarious this two-strike stance was.

If he hadn't kept being a cocky asshole after he started sucking
I wouldn’t hate him so much today.

I loved loved loved him until he refused to die with dignity.
He was done, he just didn’t know it, and given his propensity for bat-flipping and the like, it got old real fast.

Question regarding 75 words rule...
If it was ok to bypass 1000 characters on old LL, why has it been decided that bypassing the 75 word requirement is not ok?

Speaking of this
It bothers me greatly that Edgar’s stance is not an option for my player in MLB ‘08.

Though the Johnny Damon one-handed swing was pretty good too.

Ichiro has the most efeminant stance in baseball history.
But one of the most wicked stare downs, in league with the great Reggie Willits.

This Youtube video is well worth checking out.
The guy must be a savant or something, because man he nails all of them. The Ichiro and Boone ones were perfect.
I root for the two worst teams in baseball, non-ironically.

I love it
Ichiro is not spot on, the swing is wrong haha I do it better.
It’s the only stance I can impersonate exactly swing and all.

He did Buhner's T-Rex arms pretty well, but he didn't do Buhner's grip

I liked the Griffey one...
it was pretty close. It made me laugh when he dropped the bat.
Who was the one (i didn’t watch it with sound) where he ‘sets’ the bats back down? That one looks familiar, I should know that one.
I have a cousin with 1 testicle, when they yell play ball, he smiles.

Have you ever seen Ichiro look like he's setting the bat down on its head as he runs to first?
It’s another one of those little things that makes Ichiro awesome. Sometimes you have to wonder if he’s trying to balance it out of respect for the bats or the bat boys or something.
