They're fucking idiots.
But as for Geoff.. God I don’t know. He’s smarter than this, I know he is.
This is why it makes me so sad.
I think a lot of it is he reads every comment on his blog. He needs to just root out the good ones and ignore the rest. Ones that say his blog is better than USSM for instance, are bad comments.
He needs to be less of a wussy about attacks on the internet and be offended less easily. They’re not trying to tell him he’s a bad person, just that there’s better ways to analyze things than the way he does it. People who spend lots of time working on baseball analysis, for instance.
Geoff’s a good guy, and generally a smart guy, but he’s stubborn and gets his feelings hurt too easily

If Geoff had bothered reading that USSM article, he would have known that's not at all what Dave meant.
Geoff is such a gifted writer, if he could just set his emotions aside for a bit he’d be awesome.
Too true. But I know if we presented any of this to him he'd get offended and try to defend himself.
Sometimes saying “Hey, I was wrong. My bad, no hard feelings” is a really good thing to say. I do it all the time because I say a lot of stupid shit. If Geoff could just own up to his errors in judgment no one would be that mad at him.

But this one is being referred to as a ‘masterpiece’ and im not talking just from the superhero genre. Its already being called the best superhero movie of all time.
First time in a long time I have been interested in a superhero movie.
Its supposedly dark and atmospheric, which is always a plus for me. I do my homework on movies because im poor, and im not wasting money on a crap movie.
Watch Batman Begins first, if you haven't seen it.
I have a feeling the Dark Knight will make a lot less sense without having seen it.

I watched part of it.
But it was half over by the time I tuned in.
I gave the first Hellboy a chance last night…it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t that special. Forgettable, really. But I still might check out the 2nd one someday.
I still haven’t found a movie that tops Oldboy in this millenium for me.
If you gif Rick Ankiel 2000
I will jihad this site.

Or girlish good looks that cause men to think he needs a cosmo?
“Surprise me!”
by Kirsten Schlewitz on Jul 11, 2008 8:31 PM PDT up reply actions
There's nothing wrong with telling a friend to suprise you with a drink!
It’s a perfectly common response that in no way means “Get me a cosmo because I’m a precious little flower”
Saying "surprise me" when asked what kind of drink you want bought for your invites scorn.

You’re handwriting isn’t half as pretty.

So Felix did pretty well?
Im very tired so its hard to pay attention.
For example, just a second ago the fan was blowing a strand of hair back in my face, and I kept swiping at it thinking it was a gnat.
Hope everyone had a goodnight.

For a man with antennea and a pink rosebud mouth, you're doing quite well.
Much better than a man with one giant arm on an elephant.

Wow this thread really went to hell.
I can’t imagine it will get much better with Geoff Baker’s buddy Washburn on the mound.
