Cheap Sexson Mondays may continue ...
Cheap Sexson Mondays (Bud and Bud Light bottles priced according to Richie Sexson's batting average) will continue at Norm's Eatery and Ale House in the Fremont neighborhood ... provided that Sexson is picked up by someone.
Here's an Interview with the owner of Norm's about Cheap Sexs on Mondays.
Bottles of Bud never were more than $2.50 over the past year. If there's one thing Sexson was good for ... it was cheap beer on Mondays at Norm's.

I think it's funny they can stay on top of this shit
while the soap dispenser in the bathroom has been empty for a fucking week now.

It was still empty when I left work today.
Fuck those guys in the goddamned ear.

I'm here for 8-9 hours a day. I'm not going to hold it.
Do you really want money I’ve handled after using the bathroom and not properly washing my hands to make its way to you?

If you're there that often you probably used most of the soap
so replace it

I'd rather they live up to the terms of their lease.
Customers yell at me.

Cheap?
Anything over a nickle for either Bud or Bud-light is a complete rip off and flat-out thievery.
Ditto.
It’s Bud/Bud Light.
I wouldn’t pay $1 for it.
Thats cause you are a beer snob
I’m pretty sure its good for the soul to have some shitty beer now and again.

So you're telling me if you went to the ballpark
and they had $1 Bud and $7 Sierra Nevada you wouldn’t think about getting the $1 beer?
by Edgar for Pres on Jul 11, 2008 8:11 PM PDT up reply actions
No
I probably wouldn’t get either.
My body literally cannot tolerate Bud or other cheap beers, Coors Light being the lone exception.

Yeah I'm not holding it against you but being able to enjoy a shitty beer is nice
I don’t enjoy a Bud like I enjoy a Stone (for example) but being able to be happy with both is great.
Oh and Coors Light is a chick beer. Its like sweet (yet foul) water compared to most the other shitty beer and that’s saying something.

I saw it mentioned the other day,
but the orange LTD Full Sail Lager (6%) is good for the cost – $5.88 @ Winco.
Haha
My father drank Coors Light for about 20 years before switching to MGD. He’s since “upgraded” to Michelob Ultra.
They make Michelob Ultra in fruit flavors now.
Blech.

If I'm at Al's and the M's hit a home run, I'll drink 25 cent Rainier schooners
If I’m with friends and I’m offered Miller High Life from a pitcher on the house, then I’ll probably drink some.
But otherwise, no.
Rainier is a huge, delicious exception to the no cheap beer rule.
I loves me some Vitamin R.

I've drank shitty beer.
I just wouldn’t pay $1 for it.
But at this point I don’t think I’d pay anything for bud/bud light. I’d rather drink Mexican tap water.
I heard you're comin out to play in the softball league eh?
The level isn’t that great, so be forewarned. It is measurably better than LL though.
I avoid going because I am mortified at the thought of how awful I would be.

They could just change it to cheap
Vidro Mondays, or Cheap Cairo Mondays, or Cheap Johjima Mondays…. it wouldn’t make much of a difference.
