I'm still bitter that my first Springsteen concert was greatly diminished by the shittyness of the Tacoma Dome.

I think the majority of the country shows are at the Dome.

In fact, pretty much any event that appeals to the Hick population is in Tacoma. Monster Truck, WWF, whatever. Other than that, Key Arena is the place to be.

Is there any correlation here?

It seems like a lot of pitchers see guys like Joey Gathright come up and just pipe fastballs to get them out quickly. But really the reason a lot of these guys are bad hitters is because they can’t hit breaking pitches. Do good pitchers give up hits to bad hitters by assuming they should pipe a fastball to said bad hitters?
