According to Fangraphs, Tim Wakefield has gradually lost 2-3mph off of his fastball and knuckleball over the past four seasons. According to the numbers, it hasn't really made a lick of difference. On a semi-related note, years down the road, would Wakefield make the least helpful pitching coach of all time, or what?

I attended a basketball camp, and talked to Jim Boutin.

It's more likely that he isn't hitting his spots as well
and isn’t concentrating in clutch situations and is using the stat thing as a crutch.

Nick Cage is a terrible actor that trys to ruin every movie he's been in

Fossum sucked early last year as a starter and we sent him to the bullpen. He actually got worse there before we went “fuck it” and DFA’d him. He was released after he didn’t accept the assignment.
