Mariners suck more.

Thats why we’re surprised

by joof on Jun 6, 2008 6:04 PM PDT up reply actions

It wasn't dead

Until we [COATHANGER]ed it… then it was dead

-[COATHANGER]=abortion

-[COATHANGER]ed=abortioned

-The proper word is aborted

How would I make this meme grammatically correct?

In the name of the Bedard, the Felix, and the Ichiro, amen.

by Robert Lintott on Jun 6, 2008 6:16 PM PDT up reply actions

Ahhhh, my bad

Another mistake like that would be proof that I should have been [COATHANGERED]

In the name of the Bedard, the Felix, and the Ichiro, amen.

by Robert Lintott on Jun 6, 2008 6:18 PM PDT up reply actions

We aren't surprised Colon sucks

We are surprised we were able to take advantage of his suckiness

by marinator on Jun 6, 2008 6:04 PM PDT up reply actions

i refuse to capitalize now that ive been asked

no punctuation either. well, maybe that period.

but seriously though, the angels let him go for a reason.

http://inplaynoouts.blogspot.com/ - A blog about teams I like, written by me.

by Carl Johnson on Jun 6, 2008 6:07 PM PDT up reply actions

What about commas?

I like using semi-colons; they make me feel smart.

by Llewdor on Jun 6, 2008 6:10 PM PDT up reply actions

i guess they count too

but as far as im concerned, in a game thread, its the equivalent of a chatroom/instant message, so i dont bother.

banning me would be pointless but fun, i guess….i mostly lurk anyways

http://inplaynoouts.blogspot.com/ - A blog about teams I like, written by me.

by Carl Johnson on Jun 6, 2008 6:24 PM PDT up reply actions

This is in no ways a chatroom or IM window.

Treating it like such will get you kicked out.

Last warning.

by Matthew on Jun 6, 2008 6:25 PM PDT up reply actions

I don't really get it

Why bother with punctuation and all that shit? I mean, why? We’re chatting. This is, in no way, any different than a chatroom, except we’re not all 13 and/or pedophiles.

http://inplaynoouts.blogspot.com/ - A blog about teams I like, written by me.

by Carl Johnson on Jun 6, 2008 6:26 PM PDT up reply actions

Because although we are just BS'ing with each other while watching a game

We hold ourselves to a higher intellectual standard than “omg ms are bad lol”.

by Matthew on Jun 6, 2008 6:29 PM PDT up reply actions

Even the (mostly) illiterate can capitalize

...and add punctuation. Your obsession with dead memes (and live ones) is far more indicative of the intellectual aura around a site.

Either way, I’m done…I was just curious.

http://inplaynoouts.blogspot.com/ - A blog about teams I like, written by me.

by Carl Johnson on Jun 6, 2008 6:30 PM PDT up reply actions

Any different from.

Not than.

by Llewdor on Jun 6, 2008 6:39 PM PDT up reply actions

Who is this and where is Sexson?

Cause if all Sexson had to do to hit was move his foot…I am going to kill some personnel

by Edgar for Mayor on Jun 6, 2008 6:06 PM PDT reply actions

Hey, the Giants are up 8-0 as well. We ARE the same team.

We’re playing teh Red Sox, and they’re playin – oh, never mind.

Any idea why MLB.tv was sucking tonight?

Or did you guys not have that problem?

Mine is running fine right now. Took 5 minutes to load, though.

by Wilder. on Jun 6, 2008 6:11 PM PDT up reply actions

I could get it to load for about an hour

And all the mlb sites (Mariners, MLB.com, etc) were being really really slow

Did they take away the Pats tainted wins already?

Or do you not consider Them to be a Boston team, as Foxburo ain’t exactly in Boston. Or maybe your old school and don’t recognize the Unified Football trophy. Screw you AFC.

by DCMariner on Jun 6, 2008 6:24 PM PDT up reply actions

I'm conflicted.

I don’t want the Celtics as a franchise to win a title. However, I do want Ray Allen to get one.

I also hate the Lakers.

Excuse me, sirs, but the Mariners are occupying the wrong part of the scoreboard

The zero should be in front of them and the crooked number should belong to the other team.

Be that as it may

When I first got into baseball, I was a catcher. So it was natural. It’s stuff like that which can’t be explained. It’s like wondering why I like the Mariners.

Okay, I don't get this

So Shannon’s ‘guest’ on her radio postgame interview was Raul, and according to Rizzs, all ‘guests’ on the KOMO Mariners postgame receive a free gift card to Cutter’s Bayhouse.

What good does a gift card to a restaurant do for a player who makes no less than a few hundred thousand dollars a year and, in many cases, several million per? I mean… do they even think about this shit?

Meanwhile, back to basking in a rare Mariners victory.

Also, apparently another little perk to this comments automatically marked new phenomenon is that threads I haven’t read are marked as read as well. Awesome.
