Bob Fontaine is an idiot

WHY DID WE NOT DRAFT STRASBURG???!!!???

How the hell did Bavasi/Fountaine think that Fields could possibly have more potential over Strasburg. I only put up with the losing in hoping that we could come away a difference maker and instead we have Morrow over Lincecum 2.0.

In case any of you haven’t seen the videos, this is the man that WILL NOT be pitching for us in the future

I knew we were allergic to smart but holy Christ this is a whole new level.

Fuck this team. LETS GO RAYS (who ironically would not pass on Stephen Strasburg)

I hadn't seen that video before

I am all behind and on top of drafting Strasburg now. He’s very efficient with his Ks

ha

yeah, he only throws three pitches to each batter.

What is amazing is that his earlier strikeouts were not so much his doing, but the hitters swinging like that Mariners.

But as the game progressed, his control and movement got much better, and there was nothing the hitters could do at that point.

to be fair

that was the widest strike zone i’ve ever seen. It should have been more like…21 Ks. Way overrated.

Uhh, that's not irony.

I like using semi-colons; they make me feel smart.

Jesus

His command with his fastball is outstanding and he mixes in his breaking balls with the utmost confidence. He throws it all and knows you can’t do shit with it.

Fans are typically idiots.

Latent homosexuality?

I hear all kinds of hype about various prospects and talented kids, but until they get to the majors I rarely get to see it first hand before hand. Even then, there are times when I simply don’t see what the scouts and others see.

I had a scout for the Washington Nationals staying in my hotel the other day. I tried to chat him up on baseball, but the poor guy looked like he’d had a long day so I didn’t push the issue. He did insist that his TV’s have ESPN U for the college playoffs though. I really wish I coulda had a beer with that guy and ask him about scouting and the upcoming draft.

Fans are typically idiots.

Wow what a top 3 rotation

we could have in their prime years. With felix, strasburg and morrow we could rule the baseball universe.

That's why the M's need to stop winning this year >:(
