Yankee Pitchers

First of all, I just got back from an Iron Maiden concert, and it was brilliant. Iron Maiden is always worth seeing (I've not seen them before, but they were good enough I'm willing to extrapolate).

So, the Yankees used six pitchers tonight, and I have literally never heard of four of them. Who are these people? Joba Chamberlain and and Edwar Ramirez I know, but:

Dan Gliese
Jose Veras
Chris Britton
LaTroy - what? LaTroy Hawkins is a Yankee? I saw Hawkins and figured it was someone else. Of course I know who LaTroy Hawkins is.

This FanPost is a lot less relevant than it was when I started.

Good question. I have no idea.

All I know is that he has not pitched in the majors this year.

Free Agent

Was traded to the O’s for Britton, then was a non roster invite for the Pirates after the O’s dumped him, but declined to go to the minors. I have this is how Jarrod Washburn’s career will end up, minus the Mariners not being smart enough to trade him.

I’m seeing Maiden in Germany of all places (live in seattle) in August… part of the Wacken Open Air Metal Festival. Can’t wait.

Iron Maiden tour plane

My most recent trip to France was supposed to on this plane (it was still operating commercially for a few days in between the exterior getting painted and the interior getting re-fitted). Unfortunately one of the tow tractors crashed into the wheels whilst the plane was getting prepped so we ended up taking a boring plane instead.
