6/20: Open Game Thread, Part 2

I just got home to find out that it's the bottom of the fourth of a 0-0 game and Erik Bedard is no longer pitching. I am afraid to find out what happened.

I was late to the game thread

Did we already have a discussion about why the fuck WFB is starting in CF? Versus a right handed pitcher? what the fuck.

Oh.

I guess that’s actually decent reasoning. I’d still have to think Reed has more upside (on a game-to-game basis), but at least there’s SOMETHING behind it.

Dammit Sims,

Stop saying “The M’s need a DP right here” all the time.

No, I don't hate the Nats. They made be made of fail, but they didn't try to softsoap me in the preseason by building expectations

And while their offseason moves haven’t really worked out for them either, they were smart gambles made by an underrated GM working on a strict budget. The Nats suck, but it’s a likable sort of suck.

And our farm system kicks the crap out of the M’s.

Washburn and Silva to round out the series. Awesome. And we still have Sexson.

However, he only used one blade of his double lightsaber during that fight scene.

Does that mean Riggleman will be open to using a closer in a non-save situation?

Or was that driven by the fact that outside of Beck and Muholland the bullpen brought the suck?
