Seeing that you guys got an actual diamond
makes me a little sad I missed this one. The bumpy fields just don’t cut it. I was close to going on Sunday, but I woke up way late and was being lazy. Serves me right, I guess.

That's my mom. My mom took most the pictures, then when she played in the 2nd game (And aside from one hit was better than Robert) my dad took some.

These MUST be sidebar’d.

I’ll give you a dollar or free tickets to a Mariner game (whichever you deem more valuable) to make a card out of this picture however…
These are really, really good man.

If you removed Jeff's bat he'd look similar to the batless Beltre figurine.

I'm a little surprised that this one alone got to 18.

Bretticus
Be more discriminating.
Looking at the pictures of your at-bats, I see you either lunging to swing at something low or going after something over your head. You know you can connect and drive the ball… you just gotta wait for the right pitch sometimes. You’re not going to strike out, so relax and look for your perfect pitch. It’s better to pass up a hittable pitch than to swing at a bad one.
I only offer this advice because I’ve been guilty of the same mistake my whole life.
by johnbai on Jun 16, 2008 12:39 PM PDT reply actions 0 recs
This is totally true.
I was driving it pretty well last year and while practicing the other day. But I just couldn’t sit back on anything yesterday. The one I hit well died at the track…
Thanks for the advice man
