Explaining the Mariner's Failures
Mariners Foibles By David Cameron
[I will not copy-paste other authors' content in its entirety. I will not tell Graham to chill out before he's had his morning caffeine when he gives me a warning. I will not whine and bitch at Graham when he moderates my post. I will not edit the mod tags back and and act smug about it. Because that means I will get banned.]

Its so painfuly true. I don't even know what to say, other than I really wish some one in the Mariners front office will read this some day soon.

form letter
I’m voting that we all print out this letter and put it in the mail to the Mariners front office. Just like we would for a politician. It probably won’t change anything, but at least I won’t feel so helpless as an M’s fan. If anyone else feels like joining me, who should we address it to?

Director of Marketing
Gregg Greene
Safeco Field
1250 First Avenue South
Seattle, WA 98134
I picked him… and there really isn’t an opportunity cost for my time right now. Although any implications that I may have better, or more important things to do are always appreciated :)

Agreed.
This is even less effective than internet petitions.

You could write a dissertation presented in a format an 8 year old could understand,
give mountains of hard evidence as to how stupid Chuck Armstrong is, and even go into the future and get Future Chuck Armstrong to tell Present Chuck Armstrong how misguided he is and you still could not get Armstrong to admit he’s wrong.

Why did you just copy and paste an entire article written by someone else?

Because.....umm....we are all too retarded to find our way to USSM?
That must be it.

I gave credit and didn't even come close to claiming it as my own.
So you can just chill.

Cry me a river
In the future try being both historically and currently less annoying.
by Graham on Jun 15, 2008 12:13 AM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
Right.
I’ll stop being annoying when you stop being an internet tough guy. Deal?

Wow, fighting moderation now?
I’m just going to ban you for a while
by Graham on Jun 15, 2008 12:16 AM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
Fighting is that what we are going to call it?
Cause I certainly don’t consider it fighting.

Graham knows what he is saying
If something is wrong, embrace it and accept it and move on…You’re not achieving anything by doing this, add your own 75 words to your diary and there’s no problem.

He was always going to be a lost cause
On account of being stupid

I've noticed on Mariner sites that when the screenname contains "Edgar"
the poster tends to be stupid. I’m not quite sure why.

Capitalization of the screenname is key for me.

I've found that all caps = moron
While no caps = arrogant bastard

Do I capitalise my screenname? I don't remember. Let's check. *looks down*
YES! Yay for me.
I like using semi-colons; they make me feel smart.

IIRC, that's one of Jeff's rules.
Not just Graham.
"It didn’t really bother me at all," Johnson said. "If it would have, he’d probably be in a stretcher and I’d be out of the game."

Can we tell Graham to chill after he's had his morning caffeine?
I’m just trying to keep all the rules straight.
Yes, I'm a girl. Yes, I know baseball. Yes, I even drink beer.

It would appear it isn't a good idea to Graham to chill at any time
...and for the record: I am not an arrogant bastard
