The stupidest decision I ever made

was 3 years ago selling all my Power Rangers stuff. That was like 7 years of birthday and christmas presents out the window

I regret it hugely

As someone who was well into high school by the time the Power Rangers got big...

...I look down on you like the annoying kid brother you thankfully aren’t.

this might have been already stated at some point

but i got a good laugh when i just saw the article title…

Tigers send LHP Willis to Class A

I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

YEah

The Edinson Volquez plan. And Doc Halladay like somboedy said

by atthehive on Jun 10, 2008 5:42 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

Not quite as humiliating as it looks initially, though Willis is indeed made of fail.

The Tigers’ main training facilities are located at their single A installation, which is why he was sent there – so the coaching staff could give him a real lookover.

At least that’s the nominal story.

HAY WOW THE NATIONALS ARE BETTER THAN THE MARINERS OFFENSIVELY

Three home runs in the inning. Almost back-to-back-to-back (fuck you Aaron Boone). When the Nats are better with the bats than you, kill self.

I've missed this Geoff Baker so much.

He wrote this concerning some moron in his game thread.

Hey everyone, treekiller in the comments thread is having a Richie Sexson Appreciation Night at his place this weekend. No alcohol, please. Nor Canadian flags. For reservations, just log on to www.wetakelifetooseriously.com.

But nooooooooo, I have to be a Mariner fan. I’ll say it again: Seattle, go fuck yourself for proclaiming Alaska as your turf and suckering me in with 2001.

So question for smarter people than me

How is LD% determined, or more specifically, what is the criteria for a batted ball being a line drive?

they let him throw 125 pitches?

by vkut79 on Jun 10, 2008 6:11 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

Why, throwing to the M's may as well be throwing to little league

You really think he using full effort after he realized how we suck?

51 minutes (9 innings)

New York Giants v. Philadelphia Phillies, September 28, 1919

by planB on Jun 10, 2008 6:23 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

I'm late but

Back on September 28, 1919 the New York Giants took on the Philadelphia Phillies in Philadelphia, defeating them 6 – 1 quite quickly.

While the score is not that amazing, the time it took to play the full nine innings was, a mere 51 minutes, the fastest, or shortest baseball game in the history of Major League Baseball.

The fastest doubleheader was played on September 26, 1926 between the New York Yankees and the St. Louis Browns, lasting only 2 hours and 7 minutes.
