I need something to talk about that's good, and therefore not the Mariners to keep myself from going crazy.

So who's seen it? I went and saw it last weekend and was thoroughly impressed. I am a bit of a superhero nerd so I expected it to be good but it totally blew my expectations away. Robert Downey Jr. was a perfect Tony Stark. Just exactly how I imagined him to be. And the scene after the credits...man, that was badass.

Downey is rumored to have a small role in the new Hulk film as Tony Stark as well. Since Marvel has their own studios now they're able to intertwine all the characters...and now they're going to make an Iron Man 2 as well as a few other Marvel movies where they mix a few characters up...(SPOILER ALERT: Avengers)

Oh yeah--the Hulk movie is a reboot, as far as I know they're totally going to just ignore Ang Lee's piece of shit.

Some of the other comic movies coming out look great--the Dark Knight, for instance--but so far Iron Man is my favorite superhero movie since Spider-Man 1 and 2 (and I'm biased because Spider-Man was always my favorite comic character growing up.)
