OT: You guys will get a kick out of this

As a few of you know, The Beavers won 2 College World series. Well not to be out done, the Ducks decided to restart baseball (and dump wrestling). They are building the ballpark in the Autzen parking lot and i hope it turns out like Tinker Field. (The Eugene Em's are going to share the field) Well looks like they are not getting the Knight money dump here. So what do they do to raise money? They pull Kevin Costner out to put on a couple of shows. What the hell is he going to do?

Looks like they really don't care about baseball at the U of O.

The sad part is the Rays pulled him out for our unis/ballpark stuff too.

He actually does voice overs for local commercials about the ballpark initiative.

What could a little $ from show proceeds hurt?

Kevin Costner has no talent, but I fail to see the issue here.

You’re either a bitter Beav, a bitter wrestler, or both.

If we didn’t really care about baseball, we would’t be building a state of the art baseball stadium, nor paid out the a$$ for a top five coach.

We’ll suck for a few years, but this University is putting forth the effort that will make them good sooner rather than later.

As much as I dislike the U of O

I know far better than to count them out at anything.

*Crickets*

If religion, politics, and fantasy team updates are banned on this site, then so should collegiate sports. Too many conflicts and/or “who cares?” possibilities.

Fuck both U of O and OSU.

Oklahoma State University?

Ohio State University?

Not sure why you’d cheer for those losers. If only there was another OSU to cheer for…

UNLV has a baseball team

The Hustlin’ Rebels have a dumb nickname, but they’re alright.

And a decent football team

Eric Wright looks good and Beau Bell has potential to be a starter.

I'm not holding my breath

Until I see them win 7+ games back to back seasons, I refuse to get excited for UNLV football. Jeff Horton has taught me well.

I wonder what horrendous monstrosity Nike will manifest for their uniforms

I vote for reflective yellow third jersey with matching pants.
