Firey veteran leadership
Do you think this is what they meant when the front office said they want to have veteran leadership in the clubhouse?
"Too many babies here," Guillen stormed while seated in front of his locker and spicing his language with obscenity. "They don't know how to play the game and win the game right, the way it's supposed to be played. And that's the problem here. Now I know why this organization's been losing for a while. Now I know."
That's Jose Guillen for those that did not assume - or thought it was Ozzie.
Makes me wonder if Guillen is regretting finally getting that long-term contract he has been looking for for years.

Ahahahah Jose finally flipped again.
Gee, shoulda stayed with the M’s or Nats, buddy. Those teams knew how to lose like PROFESSIONALS and VETERANS.
The Royals have a 10-game losing streak.
Bastards, they already have Hochevar. They want Strasburg, too?
that's funny
considering it took Guillen 2 months to get his OPS over .700.
I wish Wilkerson would have gone off like this before he was released.
FREE JEREMY REED!!
And the reason for that slow start?
Rotoworld, 17th May 2008:
Jose Guillen attributes his recent run of success to a drop in body weight.“I really showed up this season completely out of shape,” said Guillen. “It took me a while to get to where I needed to be. I showed up at spring training at 235 (pounds). I know better than that.” He’s down to 210 and believes his trimmer figure allows for more comfort at the plate. He has 16 hits in his last 30 at-bats, including a homer and seven doubles.
Playing the game as it’s meant to be played, Jose? What a tedious clown.
You have to be a complete fatass
to lose 25 pounds in a month, Ortiz level of fatness.
