Two thoughts on Yuniesky
1. the Twins got Adam Everett basically for free this last winter
2. Yuni has a bobblehead night this season. This will be the worst bobblehead since the Moose.

You have to DL a screen recorder
it’s a fucking pain in the ass since the free versions suck and they don’t record enough FPS

I don't know
The Tigers have been doing their share of sucking themselves. It will be a terrible series to be sure.
Shawn Estes is not.
But this teams makes him look like the pitcher they thought they drafted almost 20 years ago :(
The Braves have the best run prevention in the NL and are scoring 4.95 runs/game
And yet they’re 21-21.
2-12 in one-run games.
That’s what bad luck looks like. The M’s just suck.
On the subject of good hitting, Lance Berkman's average is now up to .401

Might be a good thing
Maybe this means they’re bringing up Reed for LF and moving Raul to DH.
But... we're not playing in California for a while...
"Be prepared to be fucked by the long dick of the law." - Officer Slater.
oh. my. god. the postgame radio show is flat out retarded.
They were talking about Felix’s quote recently about using his fastball too much and then whoever hosts the show just said this (paraphrased)
“That’s funny because of the huge debate last year, started on shows like this, and then picked up on the blogs, the blogosphere, basically pitching coach Raffy Chaves picked up a report he took off the internet that said Felix was using his curveball too much. And I talked to Mike Blowers as he was incredulous that Felix could use his fastball too much. That there’s no way a pitcher can use his fastball too often and especially not Felix. It’s too good a pitch.”
I understand they get things wrong sometimes
but they got every single thing wrong here.
This took me several readings to identify all the wrong
by Jeff Sullivan on May 18, 2008 4:13 PM PDT up reply actions
because not one single person is going to call them on it.
I would love to call in and go off, but what would it accomplish?
MORE GEMS!!!
On praising Lopez:
“Look, he’s hitting third in a lineup that includes hitters such as Richie Sexson and Jose Vidro.”
I don't get it
does that mean he’s good because he beat out other good hitters for the #3 slot, or does that mean he’s good because he’s managing to produce a little bit with zero protection?
by Jeff Sullivan on May 18, 2008 4:26 PM PDT up reply actions
Also, post game insuinating Reed might be the one called up
Then again, Mac already said Vidro is going to be used as the DH.
Not about the Reed part, about the Vidro part
Where would Reed play with Vidro at DH?
Ugh, you know what, I already know the answer
Reed is gonna be our 4th OF and play once a week. I forgot how this team thinks for a second there…
it just... makes so much more sense...
How does Mac not see this as the obvious choice given his roster? Vidro=DH is nothing but bad. Ibanez in LF is also nothing but bad. agghh..

Well, at least we don’t need to worry about long winning streaks, with a DH at the Mendoza line to go along with our 1B at the Mendoza line.
by eponymous_coward on May 18, 2008 4:55 PM PDT reply actions
What's even funnier?
.232 /.348/.304 the first couple months gets you DFA’ed,
.200/.250/.296 after a .300 season? Time for infinite patience.
And Richie? a year and a third of continuous sucking PLUS half a year in 2006? Gold plated lineup spot.
