Larry Stone is Eminently Awesome
Good to see Larry Stone admit the cold hard facts. Takes a lot of balls to do that.
Geoff Baker, however...
I like Geoff , and think he's great at his job, but he has yet to man up to the fact that he might have been wrong about quite a few assumptions surrounding the Mariners.
Thoughts?
Random 50 word fact: It is estimated that at any one time, .7% of the world's population is drunk.

Wow. He is eminently awesome.
...and now I'm here
Baker
To be fair, he does admit he was wrong in today’s game thread. But, it’s a very defensive, “ok I was wrong whatever let’s move on” kind of way.
Invite him to the LL/USSM event!
I fucking hate you Mariners
Good for stone he gets some shit but Heyt an apology is an apology even if
it doesn’t quite seem that way so that’s a-okay cool.
He gave the USSM props yesterday on his radio spot with Groz and Gas.
Perhaps not an apology, but it was nice that he was giving the right people credit.
Maybe we can get him to go on the show once a week and just read passages from USSM and LL
now that Dave’s gig is no more.
But I agree—Stone doesn’t need to apologize for having faith in the Mariners’ plan and thinking that they could win. Simply pointing out that the naysayers were apparently right and not just a bunch of pessimistic assholes is more than enough to make him awesome in my book.
You can get 66 million people drunk?
Coldly devouring reason as if it were a delectable snack

Didn’t watch that decimal. This is how exploration craft get lost to the heavens people.

When I first read that fact, I was thinking "damn 7% of the world? That's like 450 million people!"
