5/26 Safenway Field
I will be in town the weekend after next (=Memorial Day weekend) for my one and only Safeco experience of the season (=the game on Memorial Day itself). I was wondering if anyone else is going / is interested in going. I know that braving Red Sox nation is not everyone's idea of a good time, but unfortunately it's my only option . Since it will essentially be like going to an away game, we could use all the solidarity we can get. At any rate it'd be fun to hang out and drink in one of the common areas of the park. There is also the possibility of pre/post game drinking. A propos of this season, perhaps that means hanging out with the homeless people and drinking out of a paper bag.

I propose something to all of you.
Please, please, please come sit in Section 108 with me and Sec 108. Whenever they get a “Let’s Go Red Sox” chant going let’s either…
1. Beat the shit out of them
2. Boo them
3. My personal favorite, get a “Fuck-the Red Sox” chant going
4. Stick pipe bombs to every single one of them that I or anyone else recognize as Seattle born who have clearly never been to Fenway wearing Red Sox gear.
Essentially, I think this needs to be an LL series as our voices are the only ones loud enough to quiet any sort of fake Red Sox nation chants. Do us proud and let’s find a way to shut those fuckers up.

A blog-thingy about the Mariners and stuff.
I will be at the game on the 27th, which also happens to be my 36th Birthday
I doubt I will be back into town in time to catch the game on Monday the 26th though.
Is this another one of those JI School of Typing comments?

You should throw pizza next time..hilarious
I fucking hate you Mariners
I will actually...
be making my way from Philadelphia to Seattle for the series. My girlfriend and her family (Red Sox fans, but actual good ones), are taking me as a gift. It’ll be my first time out there, and I’m hoping to have a good time.
Tell them if they cheer for the Red Sox you're going to stop talking to them forever.

I would...
But I’m not paying anything for the whole trip, already threw a Youkilis homerun ball back in their presence, and get to go to Vegas for a few days after Seattle. So I’m kind of going to let them do as they wish, haha. But on the bright side, I guess I’ll see Griffey again???
If a Vegas trip is involved, I'd try to behave yourself.

Last time I went the a game against the Red Sox
They were on the verge of sweeping them, and they did with that extra innings double by Loafie off of Piniero. It was probably the best feeling in the world to put those fairweather fans in their place after the game. My friend I was with almost got in a fight because he kept yelling “Fuck the Red Sox” and “Sweeeep” to every sox fan we passed. This year with the Mariners already sucking, it may not be as fun to go to one of those games.
I might try to buy tickets in the next day or so.
Any idea if the rotation will still be stacking up the same following today’s game? I know Washburn is still listed as the started for friday which means the those Boston games will fall Silva, Wash and Batista. If anything changes let me know because I would love to see Bedard or Felix.
I am also going to be out on that Friday the 30th in some cheep seats. I guess I am fairly new to LL so you guys don’t me but it would be fun to meet some people while I’m out.
