So I checked gameday and saw Kenji Johjima apparently hit

an 0-2 fastball with 2 outs from CJ Wilson of all people to tie the game in the top of the 9th. I can only assume Gameday has broken, cause that sounds REALLY unlikely.

I could see maybe complaining about missing the next episode of LOST over this awesome comeback but … all this whining about House? Whatever.

Want to know what happens in Lost?

6 of them survive and then do strange things after they get off the island.

SD Area LL-ers

I feel compelled to tell you that Stephen Strasburg throws tomorrow @ SDSU at 6PM vs LB State

by seattlebruin on May 12, 2008 9:20 PM PDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Dammit, I gotta work.

I’ve also been trying like crazy to figure out when Brian Matusz pitches over at USD. How do you find probable starters?

by Teej on May 12, 2008 9:23 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I just looked through SDSUs recent box scores and found that they use three starters

a kind named Solow, one named MacLaughlin and Strasburg, and Solow pitched their last game three days ago

by seattlebruin on May 12, 2008 9:24 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Crap, I may be wrong

looks like they have a fourth starter too, but he gets skipped sometimes. Should I try calling the athletic department tomorrow?

by seattlebruin on May 12, 2008 9:27 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

This loss must crush the Mariners' souls

All is futile. Play for Strasburg.

Quick interview with him over at BP.

Dude, Corco

stop dropping hints. Even subtle ones.

by Jeff on May 12, 2008 10:03 PM PDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I'd have to admit that season 3 didn't have much of a rewatchablity facort

and the cop arc was a waste of time

Season 1 blows every other season away—although all the other seasons are pretty good.

by JI on May 12, 2008 10:17 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I've re-watched S1 so many times, I need a break. These past few eps

are a welcome reprieve.

Though I can now professionally say that the last live scene was inaccurate.

by Matthew on May 12, 2008 10:20 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I haven't rewatched it a couple years

but a pulled it off the shelf the other day, and I have to say that there’s no episode after the S2 finale that’s as good as the top 6 or so eps from S1—that is, until tonight.

by JI on May 12, 2008 10:23 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Boy,

I wish I had gotten into House when I had the chance.

by ThundaPC on May 12, 2008 10:14 PM PDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Me too

Its too much work watching all the past seasons.

by Fin on May 12, 2008 10:37 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Now to think of it

All the time and money I would’ve spent on the M’s this year could instead go to House dvds

by Fin on May 12, 2008 10:41 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I don't know..

I prefer to buy DVDs, its easier to download. I’ll still go to some Mariners games, just the amount I will go to now has been cut down quite a bit.

by Fin on May 12, 2008 10:57 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Pre-emptive strike:

Yes we know House is formulaic. Yes we’re complete dorks. No you don’t need to tell us.

by Jeff on May 12, 2008 10:15 PM PDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

IF YOU WATCH HOUSE FOR THE PLOT YOURE DOING IT WRONG

(although ironically it was not intended to be a character driven show)

by JI on May 12, 2008 10:17 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

It's not that unrealistic

famous athletes can get away with murder

by JI on May 12, 2008 10:24 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Hayden is hot

Ok, if I am the only one that likes Heroes then I will stop talking.

by Fin on May 12, 2008 10:39 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I think they make more stupid drama to attract the non comic book nerd viewers

But with that number dramatically reduced, maybe they will increase the action. It definitely still has potential, now that Sylar is relevant again. Kind of like a team sucking because their star was on the DL.
