Good has finally come out of this terrible week
It appears that SBN has finally fixed the search feature. Now I am able to count how many times the following phrases were uttered:
"Go M's": 7,303 436 times (Thanks Power Search!)
"Fuck you M's": 352 times
"I love you": 1,496 times
"Die in a Fire": 136 times
"Griffey": 1,282 times
"Bonds": 1,479 times
"John Olerud Sucks": 170 times
"Thats What She Said": 329 times
"Lillibridge": 142 times (God I hate this meme)
"Go gay for": 77 times
"Your mother is a Whore" 4 times
And it looks like they even added a nifty new option called Power Search

Bah, I thought this was about the Angels getting swept.

I agree, we die in a fire should be higher.
Whomever is responsible for die in a fire not being higher on the list should die in a fire.
I don't believe that 1st number.
...and now I'm here
And rightly so,
Since it is wrong.
...and now I'm here
"Go M's": 7,303 times"
That’s definitely wrong. Go search it and look at the comments that come up as matches. I don’t know what the search engine is doing… it brings up comments where only “go” is mentioned and not “m’s”. No wonder that number is so big. It should probably only be like 500 or something.
I don't trust that I love you/Die in a fire ratio
Perhaps the spurious “DIAF” wasn’t included.
Search is a thing, not a person
hence the use of “it”.

The word "dildo" appears 18 times
I am responsible for 10 of the utterances, AK is responsible for one, only four usages came up that were not inspired by my inital posting of the word.
6279 comments come up for "Librocrat"
I have 6211 comments. So we can assume someone has mentioned my screen name 68 times. 5 People used “Libocrat” and 8 people used “Libro.”
...and now I'm here

I haven't yet searched for what will no doubt be
the most popular search term across all of SBN…
PANTHER!!!!!!!
Nice Guys Finish Third - Hopelessly lost, but makin' good time.
All comments created by someone with those words in their screenname are included in the total.
So Jeff’s comments are included in that total, as well as any other Jeff. But yeah, I bet he comes up a lot.
...and now I'm here
Jeff has made 42,500 comments
so we’ve made ~8,000 comments about him.
And at least one of those belonged to Skoorbo.

If this were USSM it would be more
because people direct their comments to Dave and DMZ. Here we ask a general question and Jeff or someone answers.
...and now I'm here
The first entry under "Jeff" is actually a reference to Jeff Nelson.
So that’s a pretty fuzzy number.
I like using semi-colons; they make me feel smart.
And we have had another, much more awful Jeff

Good point. Nelson and Weaver = You.
Way to be associated.
...and now I'm here
Jeff Olivo?
Jeff Halofan?
...and now I'm here
We haven't really talked about that one much here
He was long gone by the time L43 switched over to LL

Dunno
It was already well established when Moneyball and USSM taught me the ways of critical thinking applied to baseball.

Yeah, but whoever referred to Weaver as "Jeff"
he was either Reefer Jaw or just “Weaver” or “WTF WHY IS HE STILL IN THE GAME?”
