Coldly devouring reason as if it were a delectable snack
At least he agrees with some things with us
Such as Vidro being done and a first base platoon with Richie and Ibanez, as well as the youngsters being up with the team from the start. The Griffey thing on the other hand, oh boy. Last thing this team needs is another aged veteran, even though he is the closest thing the Mariners franchise have to a legend.
Whatever, the Mariners suck, I am sure Mac doesn’t want to hurt Ibanez’s and Sexson’s feelings by platooning them.

He was actually right, as others have mentioned, on several things—one of the biggest things, of course, being that Ichiro would LOVE to have Griffey on the M’s. And Ichiro wouldn’t defer CF to Griffey.
