14-23

We have scored 3 runs in the past 4 games. Sometimes I'm glad I barely get to watch this team play.

Jeff will write a real recap and throw up a chart when he gets back, and I can't be assed writing about a game I didn't see. Judging from the number of comments in the game thread, nobody else bothered with it either.

Anyone know who the #1 overall pick in 2009 is likely to be?

I just had a conversation the other day

about how worthless cursive is after fourth grade. But in this context, it’s just beautiful.

I was out all day...

But judging by the comments alone, that (those) was (were) probably the saddest game thread(s) of all time.

...and now I'm here

Yeah, I felt pretty pathetic.

But it’s not like I had anything better to do. I gotta’ work tomorrow.

I wore a Mariners hat to my softball game tonight.

I was the only person being heckled while I was hitting.

I was hoping they would get shutout again. Oh well.

Felix Hernandez may be The King, but Justin Upton is a GOD.

#1 pick in 2009 is gonna be Steven Strasburg

He’s a sophomore pitcher at San Diego State… 84.1 IP, 48 H, 11 BB, 125 K.

Had 23 K in one game this season.

At 1:18 I’m pretty sure the batter swings after the ball’s hit the glove

That would have impressed me a few days ago, after watching our offense the last four days; not so much.

That kid's using cheat codes.

Felix Hernandez may be The King, but Justin Upton is a GOD.

I'm setting my standards low

We’ll probably waste our 2009 1st pick in the draft on P Matt Duryea, Lewis and Clark State College

this after they fire Bavasi, McLaren, and Fontaine

and replace them with Jimy Williams, Miguel Cairo, and….Pat Borders ? respectively

Wlad

OPS: .786
RBI: 7
HR: 3

Highest on the team since April 27 (Wlad’s first start was on April 30th). Team average OPS is around .600 in this sucky stretch.

Yikes and Away

This is embarassing:

“SEATTLE (AP) - Attention American League: bring your slumping and your shaky (team) to Seattle - as soon as you can get here.”
