hrmm...

feelings of hope.. i know they will be dashed soon though

I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

Jeff is the man

Determined, Jonesing Commentor

Jeff is such a prophet

And now I wish we were winning just to wipe that satisfied smirk he’s got on his face somewhere in the world.

Fans are typically idiots.

Jeff is clairvoyant

What happens to Triunfel Jeff? Does he get traded in some vain attempt to salvage the season?

Damn your cold, black Orlando loving heart Whiffey!

Just kidding, thanks for saving baseball in Seattle…or something

I enjoyed the interview with Dotel

On WGN pregame… seems like a nice enough dude, actually enjoying what he’s doing.

In the name of the Bedard, the Felix, and the Ichiro, amen.

I hear it, but I don't understand it. Why shouldn't Ichiro be enough for Japanese prestige?

Presumably the Japanese are just like us in that they prefer to root for non-shitty players. Or maybe I just don’t understand their culture.

Could be – never quite understood the appeal of bukakke after all.

What can I say, I'm a one-on-one kind of guy.

Don’t go for the whole group scene.

by esoteric on May 10, 2008 9:13 PM PDT to parent up   1 recs

I'm at work right now, or I'd explain this more in detail

But I don’t believe bukakke involves groups of anything.

Fans are typically idiots.

by The Typical Idiot Fan on May 10, 2008 9:18 PM PDT to parent up   1 recs

I would have to agree.

I must shamefully admit that I’m a little green when it comes to such things, but that’s what I always understood.

by Teej on May 10, 2008 9:36 PM PDT to parent up   1 recs

How does Bukakke not involve groups?

I’m pretty sure the whole point is groups.

No way

Yamauchi will make him quit or have him disappear. Dude knows where all the bodies are buried. Because he put them there.

All we need to do is get Johjima, Lincoln, and Armstrong

involved in a very public affair. All of our problems will be solved then.

Gunpei Yokoi

The creator of the Game Boy comes to mind.

Dies in an auto accident shortly after leaving Nintendo to work for a competitor…

Indeed

And whatever happened to his son-in-law? The first President of NoA?

Arakawa

Retired from NOA and owns the company that makes official Tetris games.

From what I hear, he’s about the nicest guy in the world—not creepy like his father-in-law.

Yeah, I shamelessly copied the shirt picture from the store section

The raptor math test has to be one of the funniest non-Watterson comics I’ve ever read in my entire life.
