PrintAdam Jones doesn't like the name Pacman
Some Orioles fans tried the nickname PacMan out on Adam Jones during our series and it didn't go over too well. At least he had a sense of humor about it and it sounded like he was joking around with the fans.
This 75 word limit is a pain in the butt.

Seriously. Nicknames used to be cool, like The Splendid Splinter or The Say Hey Kid. Now they're all contractions of names, like A-Rod, which aren't even really nicknames.

Why does everyone have to have a nickname anyways?
There's a big debate on a Dbacks board that I frequent on what to call Mark Reynolds. The announcers call him "The Sheriff" which is retarded. Everybody's trying to come up with something good. I suggested Mark Reynolds.
Felix Hernandez may be The King, but Justin Upton is a GOD.

Look at car names as another example. They're all going to alphanumerics- it's like they've run out of names
