I have never seen a broken bat home run before. And I'm not talking "cracked" either.
Thing just got sheared in two, right at the handle, and he still hit it out. That's pretty awesome. Also, I dig Portland's new uniforms.
75 word space filler: Part of my job is going over a list of ~750 movies being released in a given month and deciding how many of each to order, which is what I'm supposed to be doing instead of reading LL and watching baseball. About 150 of them I know without looking how many 'll need, and about 250 I can tell based on the studio/genre/title I don't need to order. Which leaves 350 movies to look up on IMDB/Amazon/etc. You would be absolutely AMAZED at some of the movies producers actually give people money to make.
Film school dropout: "Okay, I've got a script that's gonna' knock your socks off. It's called 'Bloodspit*' and it's..."
Producer: "Bloodspit! That's all I need to hear! Greenlight!"
*Actual name of movie. Out May 21st.
