Richie Screenshot?
Did anyone get a screen capture of Richie Sexson's frustration after he struck out on the low outside pitch with the bases loaded and the game on the line on Tuesday? Seems like that would be fitting for many a situation. Not just for Richie of course, but for Wilkerson, Morse, JImerson, Bloomquist, Cairo, Ibanez, Beltre, Lopez, Betancourt...even Ichiro. (Can anyone tell I'm trying to get to the 75 word minimum?)

MLB.tv sucks
I tried to get one for you, but for some reason the ARCHIVE of that game is blacked out on mlb.tv. Makes absolutely zero sense.

Thanks for trying
Now that I think about it, I think I DVRed that game, so I might be able to find it there and take a picture of it. Won't be the same quality, but if I'm bored enough tonight I might give it a shot.

Every game was blacked out for me yesterday
even though it was perfectly fine the first two days. Had to give them my credit card again before they believed that I didn't simultaneously live in every MLB market.

Wow, apparently doesn't work there. I need some sleep, I am off on this whole "words" thing tonight.

No...
But at that moment I felt really bad for him. It's sad when your career is just about over and everything seems to go wrong. I personally wish people would cheer for him more; not because he's doing well (because he isn’t right now), but because he's a hometown ball player on the last leg of a respectable career.

I thought about feeling sorry for him
But being utterly pissed off just came much more naturally.

once he stops whining to the press
I'll cut him some slack
Right now he has 14 million reasons to turn off the ignition and open the garage, so I can't feel too bad for him.

Why does being a hometown player matter?
Oh, you're from within a few hundred miles of Seattle, I automatically like you more?

only in the context of the people who boo/cheer at Safeco to begin with
look at the tongue baths Willie gets despite his lack of production-- he'd likely be unemployed if he weren't from the Seattle area.

He sucks, he deserves the boos.

I'll give him credit for at least being upset with himself
as well he should have been.
