Time to rethink a trade
Hey guys, now that the season has begun, how about a rethink of the idea of trading for Matt Murton? He is basically a fifth wheel outfielder without a team for the Cubs and, with Soriano comming back, will be looking at another trip to the minors. He would represent a huge defensive upgrade for you guys and, with regular playing time, would become far more consistant at the plate. How about it guys--he's scuffling along right now and you could probably buy low. Great bargain and value for you guys.

I'm sorry
We only buy low if the reason for buying low is, “The player has no knees.”

Calling Tonya Harding
Actually, Soriano may just do it himself to ensure he gets his spot back. Of course, you really can’t say no to an $18M/yr injury risk-hey wait a minute-how you would guys like Soriano instead?
Time is an illusion--lunch time doubly so.
$18M injury risk > $14M or $6M suck guarantee
because with an $18M injury risk, there’s the chance he won’t get injured. With Big Richie and Vidro, the suck is entirely guaranteed.

I was thinking of Theriot rather than Murton, who is a LF.
Game on with Murton. I say give him a shot.
Youve come to the wrong place
We probably could run the M’s pretty well but as of right now we’re stuck cheering for a team run by a man with down syndrome. It’s a good proposal but we dont quite have that authority
