Weird SBN glitch
The (admittedly quite convenient) pressing of 'C' to advance to the next unread comment doesn't work in any post where the comments are closed.
I first noticed this in the "all time roid leader" FanPost.
I'm not sure whom to tell about this, so I'm posting it here (and now I'm going on at length about that decision in order to hit 75 words - but it's not working).
There, that should do it.

Do you like this story?
Comments
also really irritating
is when comments pop up above the ones you are viewing, ‘x’ or ‘z’ erases the new ones instead of continuing to filter downwards and then wrapping around to the new comments above.
You mean it leaps back up towards the top and gives you the comment up there,
then jumps you back down to the specific thread you were reading?
I like midgets more than I should.
it doesn't leap back up for me
it stays right where I’m reading and just crosses off whatever new comment above just came in.
It leaps back up enough for me to know what's going on.
But not long enough for me to read the comment.

Mine does both. Sometimes it leaps up just long enough for me to see it marked something read,
but most of the time it just jumps out of sequence. I’m sure they’ll fix the glitches over time though.
Overall I think the new format has turned out to be pretty cool. There are still some features I either haven’t learned or don’t understand, but I’ll figure them all out eventually.

Speaking of SBN glitches:
Even though I have avatars turned off, I can still see them in FanPosts next to the author’s name.
I reject your reality and substitute my own!
