Frustration Diary

Alright...as we can all see now..Scrappy is fucking us all in the ass.  Our offense is horrid, our pitching (outside of Felix) is a coin-toss, our bullpen used as efficiently as the U.S. military, and we are managed by a guy that squints with sun glasses on.  We are fucked.

Wlad just went down...probably a serious injury, because we are Mariner fans.  We went from Jose Guillen in RF, to Adam Jones, to Wlad, to Wilkerson, to Morse, and now we have WFB.

Is anything going good right now?  I'm actually laughing..and waiting for Triunfel to be 30 years old and anal fissures.  Fuck this organization, and thank god for booze...its nooz you can uze

We're boned.

Felix Hernandez may be The King, but Justin Upton is a GOD.

And the bad news is, our schedule is about to get a whole fucking lot harder.

April was an easy month. May is not.

Shame this isn’t football where you can go out and pay cash to buy a new player from a team. Because right now, we don’t have many valuable trade chips yet we have serious holes in our lineup.

Bonds would fix them, but it ain’t going to happen.

We are boned. Can anyone after watching our start to the year say that we have a realistic shot at the playoffs?

And to think, I could have chosen to support the Yankees or Red Sox...

Well the good news is

at least we’ll get a high draft pick next year!

Cheer up dudes

Not all is lost. We’re a decent team, a better one than last year, and it’s early yet. Wait until we hear more about Bedard’s injury before declaring the year a lost cause.

Besides, even if we do suck we still get to watch Ichiro, Felix, and the gang.

Plus Clement is owning everything/one so that’s nice too.

Voice of reason seconded.

No offense folks, but this organization is not the worst around. As Graham mentions above we still have players that are fun to watch. Sit back and enjoy.

Yeah

If we can sit through 63-99 and 69-93, we can manage this.

Somebody check for dogs and cats living together

because that just sounded like optimism from Graham.

Yours is not pessimism.

Pessimism is expecting the worst possible. Ours is pessimism because we have an okay team we expect to do terribly.
Yours is not pessimism, yours is realism ;-).

I've been thinking about this a lot recetnly.

And both Washburn and Dickey ranking on Johjima’s play call abilities to the press, no matter whether or not they are true, is still bullshit. Team chemistry may be crap, but you don’t openly insult/blame your teammates. Fuck this team.

Fair point

It’s not Kenji’s fault they didn’t shake his suggestions off. They’re the ones ultimately throwing the ball, he’s not making them do it. And bringing those issues up in the press is pretty lame.

by OlSalty on Apr 20, 2008 9:25 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

Even if it is...

That’s ridiculous that they’d say so.

I think Dickey also made it a point to take the blame rather than blaming Kenji

and that Kenji’s name happened to come up because, well, he was the catcher at the moment.

Hope so.
