LL Night at Safeco. April 14.
The M's have elected to do the BECU Family Nights on select Mondays again. On these nights, any view reserved tickets are $10 ($11 on day of event). Deanna originally came up with the idea last year to have LL Nights on these nights, and we've met up for each one since.
Let's get ready to do it again this year. Here are the BECU Family Nights, where View Reserved seats go for $10.
Mon., Apr. 14 7:10 vs. KC
Mon., May 5 7:10 vs. TEX
Mon., Jun. 2 7:10 vs. LAA
Mon., Jun. 16 7:10 vs. FLA
Mon., Jun. 30 7:10 vs. TOR
Mon., Aug. 4 7:10 vs. MIN
Mon., Aug. 25 7:10 vs. Min
Mon., Sep. 22 7:10 vs. LAA
Be advised: since the prices are Mojo's rising and all, the M's up the price of these tickets to $11 if they're purchased at the gate on gameday, so don't be surprised. Try to get them in advance if the dollar's difference is important to you.
One week from Monday may be a bit short on notice, but I'd be down for trying to get seats in Section 340 and meeting up for the first LL Night of the season. LET'S DO IT.
Also, Deanna, who is currently living in Japan, has advised me that she'll be back in town around this time. There's a chance she may be able to make it for this game.
What you say, folks? Let's meet one week from Monday! Look to get tickets in section 340, row 20 thereabouts. This will assure we can all sit together, since this section is usually sparsely populated, and we can shift seats a bit so we're all together.
Also, it must be reiterated: try to get your tickets in advance! They'll charge you an extra buck if you get them at the gate, plus there's always the remote risk that the section could sell out.
Wednesday update: I got my tickets after work, and had a bemusingly awkward exchange with the ticket seller. With several rows in front of row 20 available, he was curious why I wanted that particular row. I said I had several friends looking to go to that game and we were going to sit in that area... to which he replied every other seat around my seat was empty. I told him you hadn't gotten your tickets yet ;P
So a) anyone worried about availability, don't worry: plenty of great seats still available, and b) if you go to the Safeco Field ticket window in person and happen to order your ticket from a nice middle aged Asian man, do not be surprised if you receive some sort of weird, silly look.

Yeah, I completely dropped the ball as it were
I would LOVE to see everyone at an LL night on the 14th. I was planning to go to one or both of the Royals games, as I need to try to stalk Trey Hillman and thank him for the last five years with the Fighters.
And yeah, I am in Seattle from April 12 to 16 or so if anyone wants to see me or wants anything from Japan, let me know.
I am in my seats for the 14th
but if you let me know where you all end up sitting I'll swing by and say hello.
Mondays are my favorite night to go to games and I already have tickets to all but two of those. Do you do anything as a group before or after the games?

340, up around the 20th row is the usual spot
Stop by!
Usually, we don't meet up before or after as a group since it's a work night and getting there takes some extra effort for most involved. But if others want to group up and hit a bar before the game, I've got no problem with that at all.
I am at Temple Billiards on Jackson
Before every weekday game that I attend. $3 Micros and the owner is super cool. I highly recommend that over the super packed places closer to the stadium.

I doubt I can go to the 14th
but I'll probably go to any in the summer. Mondtay nights + school = not good

No sweat
We'll do LL Nights for all those dates, so once you're out of school, get a ticket and come on down! We always try to get in the same section, so don't worry about waiting to find out where we are.
Alright, sounds good.
I look forward to shouting random minor leaguers names throughout.

The 14th is no good, but I'm down for any of those other dates.
If Pinocchio has a cocaine problem and he lies about it, does that make it worse?
Can't make it to this one...
But I really want to go again.
Instead of the "Andy Hargrove" chant for Sexson - may I suggest "Bar-ry Bo-onds???"

So you're coming around on Bonds, then?
welcome to the dark side, my friend....
Nice Guys Finish Third - Hopelessly lost, but makin' good time.
I still hate him. Passionately.
But my hatred for him doesn't mean that I don't want him on my team, and don't think he's a better option than at least three guys on the team at their respective positions.
But the M's would get Griffey first, and that's not a terrible option either.

All the Bonds-haters should read this sentence

and take it to heart.

raaar.
so my plan is to sit in 340 or wherever the hell Gomez is on Monday, then on Tuesday I'm gonna be out in 108 somewhere.
still don't have tickets for either, but I can't imagine it'll be a problem.
this day-of-game price hike is retarded though.
and the weather makes me sad :(
it was nice to see some of you guys on Saturday, too, even if briefly.
I'm a lot less likely to go then I was on Sat
I forgot that my soccer season starts today.
Did you already buy tickets?
If not, I just found out that I cannot go tonight. You and Deanna could have my seats. They are much better than sitting up in 340.

yeah, i bought a ticket too
one of my friends is supposedly going to come join us too. we'll see what happens.
