I could have put up with the Giants’ offense and bullpen for a full year. I LOVE Lincecum, but I have to think that Sabathia (assuming he’s anything close to what he was last year), is a better bet.
Plus the guy I traded him to gets very panicked often (hence, how I was able to get Sabathia), so I’ll try to get Tim back after a bad start or two.
I drafted him in the 2nd round of the LL league.

I was watching EPSN earlier today and they this NBA "expert" from San Fransisco on.
He said the Sonics have been the #1 team in Seattle among fans. I laughed when he said this.

Listen to that crowd. The greatest travesty in Sonics history is not that round one loss; it’s that that 96 team had to come in the same year as that Bulls juggernaught, the best team in NBA history. I’ll always maintain that that 96 team was the best team to not win it all.

I wouldn’t mind seeing another badass team put together. The 2007 Golden State Warriors reminded me of the Payton-Kemp Sonics, except they weren’t nearly as good because they didn’t have Det, McMillan, Gill, Perkins, etc, type players to give them an all-around game.
And the fans are still there,
they’re just hiding until the games get good and worth going to again. We were right back there for the team in 2005. New Orleans we ain’t.
