I think someone mentioned in a game thread last week about gettin some LL-style pwning on Xbox live so here's a post where I guess people can post their gamer tags and brag about how much time they waste following the M's and playing video games from our mother's basements.  I reserve my real GTE for COD4 matches so be warned.

Mine is the same as my screen name here.  That is, hcoguy, not literally 'the same as my screen name here.'  That was too long so I settled for this.

Or is there a difference? I got an elite when Halo 3 came out, played xbox live on my freinds account maybe 5x, and havent’ touched my 360 since. waste of money.

I’m not a big fan of Halo 3, check out Call of Duty 4 if you want something slightly more realistic.

I thought I wasted some money when I bought Rainbox Six Vegas 2 and played it for two whole minutes before turning it off.

And lots of halo 2 in college.

I had the original Rainbow Six Vegas and played it for a little bit

But the online just didn’t seem fun so I traded it in when I get Madden I think.

Same here, for sure

But partly because the web filter at work won’t let me get on GAF. I’d probably post more if I could. Being a member there actually helped me sell a car to one of the higher profile members on the site. He got confused when I recognized him when we talked over the phone (he’s in the industry and has a memorable voice).

Though I haven’t played near as much as I did earlier in the year, I do play often. I like having a “universal” name for everything I do online. Makes me recognizable, apparently.

And the spawn killing is still horrible, even after the update. Though, the new Killcams are fun. I always hate getting whacked by a grenade from the heavens, but it’s fun to see how ridiculously well-placed it was thrown

On Ambush it is amazingly easy. And yeah, the blind deaths are heartbreaking – as are effing juggernauts. I don’t get how I can pop you in the head with a .50 Cal and you don’t die.

and Wetworks. with 3x frag, as soon as I spawn, I just throw my grenades in the air

and the best strat? Silenced P90 and UAV Jammer, sit in a corner, and the annihilate ppl when they run by. I’ve gotten so many choppers off that, I lost count

EVERYONE snipes so me and my friend just go in to one building, sweep through the team, then move on to the other building and do the same. Rinse Lather Repeat.

I love sniping on wet work if you get to start on the side with the indoor stairs up the second level – practically impossible to be seen.

Yeah, that's the only way to play Bloc

Just work around the outside of the map, going through the buildings. I use the G36 silenced or a P90, depending on my mood. Easy pickings

Exactly. Every once in awhile I will be a sniper and head up that staircase in the back

and take out a few from there until I get A) Found by people and B) I run out of claymores to kill said people coming to kill me.

I used to get pissed about Juggernaut

But then I realized that using Stopping Power was the same thing, really. So, whatever. Though I do hate those that use Juggs, Martyrdom, and 3x Frags on close encounter levels (Vacant, etc.).

I can't decide which I hate more - Martyrdom or Last Stand

I have no idea how many kills Last Stand has robbed me of, but I do know that once on Wetworks I went like 10-16… with 12 assists

I struggled with the decision because I didn’t have much time to play and I didn’t want to start over. But I ran out of challenges and the game got quite boring without playing for a promotion.

plus when I restarted was that weekend when they were offering double exp on the new maps. Needless to say, I know those maps pretty well =/

that single feeling alone is worth it. It’s like an automatic 5-10 kills at WORST, and no one tries to shoot them down because they don’t want to get sniped.

I'm at 40-45 on my second play through

Honestly, I may not go Prestige again. I disliked having to work my way back up. On the other hand, though, I generally just use the M16, Stopping Power, and Deep Impact for my basic kit, so no unlocking needed. The only upper level perk I use is Bandolier (I hate running out of ammo).

Hmmm... I rotate a lot

But my #1 config is M4 Red Dot (used to be ACOG, but then I realized how much I enjoy shooting people from close up) – Blue Tiger Camo, 3x Frag, Stopping Power, and Extreme Conditioning

I shouldn’t use conditioning though, because it gets me into trouble (instead of being patient, I just figure I can run my way out of everything… and bullets go faster than I do)

Other fave guns – P90 and R700. Not a big fan of the .50 cal

Yeah, I hated getting back to lvl 10 for my M4

but it took about that long to rack up the kills to finish off the MP5, so it wasn’t that bad

I’m not an M16 fan – I’m more of the put the dot near the target and get first shot off with ~1/3 of a clip type, so the three round burst doesn’t do it for me

I like 2 Trigger pulls being enough to drop somebody. Hurts in a close-up fight, but those are rare enough that I don’t worry about it

I get in way too many close range battles and wind up just firing off a whole clip til I kill the guy. Needless to say, my killstreaks don’t tend to be terribly long

But I also have many terrible games, so I balance. Again, I am much like the Mariners last year. I alternate between very solid and SHIT.

I've been getting a lot of 6-kill streaks lately

I’m trying to tell myself that every time I get a six kill streak, God kills a puppy. That will make me shoot fake terrorists better.

The trick is that if you get 5 and you think you're in trouble

then just hold the airstrike until you die and respawn. The kills count towards a new streak. Especially useful if you hit 7 and score a chopper. Just sit on the chopper until you respawn. Then, sit back and enjoy. After 7, there is no benefit for you to get a bigger streak aside from bragging purposes.

That crap drives me nuts. But definitely try and hang on to your airstrikes and choppers for after respawning. Makes it easy to get big streaks

Aside from my personal uses (Google Reader, Gmail, etc), I do internet sales for the store. Meaning, I send emails with price quotes, and the people usually want extra information, which I would normally google and link to.
