The worst part of the wave is that it exists.

A day or two ago, I noticed that the crowd jumped up right as the pitcher was making his delivery. I soon realized they were doing the wave, but for a split second I imagined that they all just saw a huge meatball coming out of the pitcher's hand and were already cheering the homer that was about to happen.

I'm easily entertained.

No, it's standing up for no reason

while your trying to finish off your nachos before the "cheese" turns to ice.

The worst part of the wave is when it's started

by obnoxious ten year old girls and you can't in good conscience flip them off.

This is how pitchers in High Desert are treated

It builds character and puts hair on your chest.

...but it wasn't a blowout until after EOF came in

You could be a part-time model...but you'd probably still have to keep your normal job

Is it just going to be one game

or like last year with an M's game and a minor league game?

by thenatural on Apr 13, 2008 3:39 PM PDT to parent up   0 recs

Dave has a busy schedule

so I think it'll just be a block of hours eating and drinking somewhere. But don't take my word for it yet.
