Make one
About how you get all of your opinions from the blogosphere and can't think for your fucking self.
That'd be funny too.
Thinking for yourself is good, unless you're completely wrong
then its OK to go with the blogosphere

It's a shame we have such a fucking awful lineup today.

It's alla bout the roles, Jeff.
It's a high leverage situation against a lefty! We need our situation lefty to pitch.
So...do I watch Potatoes blow this or do I play Super Metroid instead?
I've gotten to the point where I can do a perfect 100% item game in 1h20m.
How do you blow a game you're losing?

Blow it open, I suppose.
Good point.
But really, I just want to talk about how great Super Metroid still is.
McLaren is my hero
I never thought such dumbasses could one day end up being so succesful, even if it is merely in title alone.
There were two outs on that play
both runs would have scored
Potatoes
Doesn't have the right mental makeup to pitch in the 5th with runners on first and second and two out.
This is a bad move.
Uh...were the runners going?
Why didn't Cairo try for the around-the-horn DP?

I'm not too worried
This one guy is the same guy who thinks that they should call up arthur rhodes, so I would easily not take what he has to say to heart.
Hopefully just the casual fans.
Without a doubt he's struggling right now, but innings like this? He did what he was asked and got boned by the defense twice in a row.
whew
that was close.
ok boys let's learn to hit.
The way the lineup is performing
No victory for Bedard either
Would we have had the same retarded lineup with Bedard pitching?
Or did Mac decide to give up after Bedard got hurt?
That's what I was wondering too
I can see both sides of the argument I guess
by seattlesundevil on Apr 13, 2008 2:50 PM PDT up reply actions
Well Morse 1-2 with a K is about what yo expect from Wilk
And a BB and a line drive from Cairo
You could argue that if we had Wilk out there
it would be 0-0, although I don't know if he catches either of the balls Morse missed...
Uhh, he easily catches the second one
The first is debatable, but no starting OF in the league fucks up that second play like Morse did.
yeah i missed the live play
all I saw was a replay of Morse getting turned around like an idiot
I imagine Beltre might have played
But Burkes pretty standard for a sunday afternoon game, and Morse is who they're going to against lefties...

Silva, Washburn and Tits are functional
If Baek sucks, we can replace him with Dickey.
What the Angels have is the best they can come up with right now.
If I keep saying Saunders has a no-hitter even when he doesn't
Will that make him give up a hit?
I was gonna ask about that
He seems to be throwing an inordinate amount of balls to be having such a good (on the face) game
by seattlesundevil on Apr 13, 2008 2:55 PM PDT up reply actions
Hey, I just got here and started watching the game
Can someone summarize what's happened? Did Baek simply blow up or was he just unlucky?
...and now I'm here
Not really Baek's fault
Costly defensive mistakes mostly
Some of us idiots...
need to come to our own conclusions and accept that Mike Morse is good.
Above average at playing the defense even.
This would make Tim wrong as well

Hate to break it to you, but
O'Flaherty hasn't been that sharp either. It's a combination of bad pitching and shitty defense that has sunk him.
This game has sucked, but I have a small sliver of hope
that this will somehow make Mac and Co. realize that Morse should not play the outfield.
I think its possible
The ball has really found him out there today, highlighting his craptastic defense. But yeah, Mac probably can't even see past the infield so not like he noticed
C'mon people, it's not Morse's fault.
This is wholly Squinty McClusterfuck's fault for playing him.
Also, why the fuck do people want Wlad called up? The man needs a regular job to work out the chinks in his game. Sitting his ass on the bench in Seattle won't help him much at all.

Okay, Potatoes really HAS lost it right now.
There's no excuse for not letting Gary Matthews get himself out.
That was a ground-ball with the infield up.
Exactly what he wanted to have happen.
Honestly
I don't want to sound like I'm defending EOF with every breath, but that was just a groundball. As meltdowns go, this is a pretty unlucky one for him.

it wasn't hit that hard, they might have at least kept in the infield
but that's not the point. Down 5-0, Yuni and Lopez should have been at DP depth. Not that any of this matters
