Blame Graham for ruining the game before I got a chance to watch. Me, I'm going to send him a thank you card.

God this game sucked.

Fuck you, offense. You've been put on notice.

I reject your reality and substitute my own!

Whatever

Jackson is exactly the kind of guy who can shut us down if he's hitting his spots - power righty with a good slider (Wilkerson sat today because... ?). We just took 2 of 3 from a pretty good club, and I'm not going to complain if Tits takes the hit in the third game.

What pisses me off is EO'F. I want Sherrill back, and I want him back five games ago. Sure, bullpen was too good last year, but I didn't think regression would be such a bitch.

EOF didn't pitch poorly today.

Inside pitch that barely nicked Pena's loose jersey and a weak hit that Richie couldn't get to. Cap that off with an IBB.

He hit his spots, but didn't have success to show for it.

Is Cairo a high paid coach?

What do coaches make on average? I know with managers it varies, usually 1-3 million unless you are an all-star like joe torre

by Fin on Apr 10, 2008 2:48 PM PDT reply actions

I would seriously doubt that a bench coach would make more than 500K

but I could be wrong, I have no real data on which to base that assertion.

Blarg

I had class at 9, got back and had the choice of watching this or sleeping until my next class at 1. I chose sleeping. Good choice, me.

Every team has games like this.

The trick is to know when they're going to be so you can skip them. >_>

Cairo is like a walk on for a good college hoops team

except he gets paid 850k to hang out instead of like $300 by some boosters

Yeahhh

That wasn't much fun.

Felix Hernandez may be The King, but Justin Upton is a GOD.

An extremely random HOCKEY question:

Can anyone recommend some good/great hockey blogs? Any analogue to BBTF out there? 'Cause the Nationals suck, the Mariners are disappointing me as usual, and pretty much the only bright spot of my sports world right now is my hometown Capitals.

I know that Jeff is a big hockey maven, so I figured either he or others here might have something to recommend. tyia.

I only really read Sens blogs

and they're more entertaining than they are analytical. I'm a totally different hockey fan than I am a baseball fan.

On SC Top 10

some Rangers hitter hit a shallow fly to center... and it was a top play. Do I even need to say it?

Adam Jones caught it!
