Sometimes I think the mixing of players with promotion gets in the way of fielding a good team. A little bit is fine, but damn....we go a little crazy with it.

Last year on Opening Day,
My buddy and I got our picture taken in front of a gigantic picture of Jeremy Reed outside Safeco. I found it hilarious. When it's those borderline guys who may or may not make the team, you're probably better off just leaving them off your list of candidates for 10-foot-tall posters outside the park.

We were only losing by 2

Bautista implodes, we waste the pen anyways, and now we are down by seven, with pretty much no hope.
Again, I sure am glad McLaren left Beluga in for the seventh.

There's no guarentee that Batista would implode
or that EOF would locate his pitches.
Once Batistia started to struggle he was pulled. Our bullpen is a batter to batter proposition in a close game. It doesn't make any sense to start churning through relievers until you have to. Especially when theres a three game series with Anaheim starting tomorrow.

option 1: Rhodes can come off the minor league DL today but he hasn't pitched out side of Arizona yet....
option 2: Jimenez (who is bad) has gotten off to a good start for the Rainiers 2ip 4k (small sample size), and there was talk in the middle of ST that McLaren liked him....
option 3: He stays and tries to get it turned around.
