If Pinocchio has a cocaine problem and he lies about it, does that make it worse?

It's so great to see you back Mr Lowe.

And to think, I could have chosen to support the Yankees or Red Sox...

by EnglishMariner on Mar 31, 2008 6:33 PM PDT reply actions

I don't think he can hear you.

Unless he has an iPhone in the dugout. And I am sure he would have turned it off already knowing you are spreading your legs tonight.

Just got back from the game

and I echo the holy shit it was freezing sentiment! But definitely worth it - AMAZING game and great to see JJ get the save. Bedard I was disappointed with at first, but the more I think about it, he DID get shafted a lot on calls and he had nearly zero control but still went 5 innings with just a few hits and a fuckin michael young HR - not bad overall. Great performance by the bullpen too! Overall not too shitty - and we are a game up on the Angels!

by Coach Owens on Mar 31, 2008 10:09 PM PDT reply actions

Great game.

Was it just me being a homer, or was Bedard getting really, really, really squeezed the first few innings? I was very impressed by him today and I think he could've easily gone 6, but he was at 101 pitches... Basically, it looked like Erik should've had 2 or three more K's tonight, and the ump screwed him over...

Blind homerism, or did I have a point?

I'd say it was slightly below average control. He really got squeezed badly today. The zone was at the very least consistently small though.
