The Wall Street Journal posted an article about how baseball clubs are increasingly listening to fans about possible baseball decisions.  Dave's open letter is mentioned as one of the examples.

They also mention an independent league team that allowed the fans to vote on batting order.  That sounds fairly entertaining. :)
