Random question

I want to go to the M's vs Angels game in Anaheim on Sunday the 20th. What's a good section to look for seats in?

The best remaining section appears to be 101 which looks like its right around the foul pole.

I've only been to one game at Angels stadium and sat under the over hang on the third base side.

I'm in the same boat - I woke up at 9 AM on Sat, and the tix were gone. I'm going to wait for Angels ticket exchange and go for 109 or 127 - last year, I was able to get seats in those areas for right around face when all was said and done.

Speaking of, would anyone want to have a mini-LL gathering for that game or in SD?

that the first time the unofficial Mariners Fan Club of New Zealand (there are two of us) get live Mariners action on our first ever mlb.tv subscription......it is a Washburn start!?!

No - He had great velocity out of college, and got GBs. I think people thought there was more growth possible (velo, command) once he stopped playing football.

So far, uh, not so much. I'd forgotten just how thoroughly 'meh' his college stats were. Wow, walks over 3, K's in the low 5/9ip. Doesn't scream 'biggest bonus in the draft' to me.

Anyway, he should've been drafted as a WR...

I would have ONLY drafted him as a WR

when you take into account that he was a fourth-year college player who was still "toolsy" more than anything else, yeah doesn't scream "giant bonus" at me.

And to be honest, I think he would have been a great WR.
