Bedard Gets More Spotlight
SURPRISE, Ariz. – Erik Bedard’s grace period ended Wednesday afternoon, amid the light desert air and beneath a high sky, a soft breeze angling toward right field, in a place where fat fastballs and imprecise curveballs hold no true significance.
EDIT: It's 4 AM JST. I can't read worth shit.
Basically, writer decides to write bloated article on how Bedard has been shittacular this spring, making it sound like our trade was a hunk of crap. At least, it sounds like that when it's 4 AM and you're inexplicably awake at that time.

Who the hell is "Prettyman?" And why isn't he the greatest player of all time?
Also, apparently I don't understand how spring training works, because Triunfel pinch hit yesterday and got a sacrifice fly. I thought he wasn't at spring training.
...and now I'm here
I think we have SS games today
and with the season 4 days away they are probably giving some scrubs their final swings.
SS games / A lot of the main team is headin to Vegas for the Cubs series

Hey, a Travis Chick siting!
2/3 of an inning, 6R, 3BB, 0K. Hmmm. That could've gone better.
If there's one thing I know to be true about spring training
it's that it matters.

Shit, Jeff
I think I've finally caught your hatred of Spring Training this year. In the days of yore I'd always look forward to spring training, I'd check the daily box scores, and I'd keep up with the stats. This year I've watched two of the games on TV, checked about 5 box scores, and haven't even looked at the stats.
I reject your reality and substitute my own!

"Matters" doesn't do it justice
if not for spring training, the world would stop spinning.
