Adam Jones' New Club

I still read ESPN... So, here's a great article about Adam Jones, his attitude in the clubhouse and the clubhouse's attitude towards him.  I love how the article makes no mentions of veterans stepping forward to make sure he knows his place.  Sounds like he knows it pretty well- Starting center fielder with a cool clubhouse demeanor.

Star-divide

This, along with articles on GS' new role are the first two pangs of sadness I've felt since the Bedard deal became public.  I never wanted to see those two go, but given the return I was generally okay with it all.  I added a poll to see how people are feeling after the initial trade emotion has faded.  I thought it was decent then and now.

Jones makes me want DirecTV
so that I can get Extra Innings and see him shine - I really miss having him as a Mariner, but I'm happy to see him go to a team that isn't going to be so butt-tarded about him and other young talents.

I was under the impression
you didnt need DTV to get EI.

I know last year I got EI without Direct TV, even though it was like a month after the season started or whatever.

I think the first game i watched on EI instead of mlb.tv was the CLE game where Raul had 2 HRS.

EI is available on all cable/sat systems
Last year MLB tried to restrict it to only Dish Network but that failed, so I think this year it's back to being available pretty much everywhere.  mlb.tv is still a better deal.

Cableone doesn't offer it
I know it's not a DirecTV exclusive, but it might as well be in Boise.

No one offers EI in Canada.
It simply isn't available.  It blows.
