It's just a rumor that I read over on Prospect Insider this morning so take it for what it's worth, but apparently the M's are considering trading Cha Seung Baek to the Giants for Ray Durham and Cash.

Seems like good Lopez insurance and he's likely better than Cairo.  On the other hand, he is old and just came off the worst season of his career.  I don't think he's anywhere near as good as his 2006, but the projection systems tend to have him around a .740 OPS except for ZiPS and MINER.  Wouldn't be a bad bench bat to have around.

The other rumor I read is Jeremy Reed to SD for some sort of non-prospect.  Not that it matters, just figured I'd mention it.

Any thoughts on a potential Durham addition?
