are having issues... didn't realize that Beltre led the Mariners in stolen bases with 15 in 2007...

and didn't know Balentein was spelled Balentin....

the second announcer, not Miller
Thinks a WHIP of 1.5 is good/average.

Thinks Bedard led the AL in K's last year.

Ugly defense
First game I've seen this year and I am nearly gonna turn it off.

I did call Joh's FBGS, 2-0 count power pitch baby.

Adam Jones would have got that one
that Ibanez missed. Then again so would my grandfather.

I think Bedard looked good today.
Looks like he's working on a cutter.  It wasn't being hit too hard despite a few of 'em carrying out in the wind for homers.  But when he was going FB/CB he looked dominant.  Despite the ugly box score, he's fine.  Especially if he ditches that awful cutter.
Yesterday's Pants
A blog-thingy about the Mariners and stuff.

Right on.
The Giants were poking routine flyballs for homeruns. Nothing Bedard could do about that. It was good sign to finally see his strikeouts pick up, too.
