Good news for the M's

Looks like John Lackey is going to miss the first month of the season(link is to Rotoworld).  Escobar is already out, and who knows if Lackey will be back on time.  Perhaps the M's can get out to an early lead in the division?  I'm still not that optimistic, but if the Angels keep lowering the bar at some point the Mariners should be able to throw themselves over it.

Good news for the Mariners and us fans.
Bad news for one of my fantasy teams.

In past years I always avoided Angels players for the sole purpose of wishing them all to get injured. I finally draft one and he goes down. Talk about bittersweet.

Maybe I should think about dedicating an entire fantasy team to the Angels roster.

Autodraft stuck me with Garret Anderson
and Reggie Willits in Goose's League.  Willits may start the year in Salt Lake, and didn't have much of a role with the Angels even if he stayed... so yeah.

That's why I only play 1 league each year
and only draft Vlad if I can't draft anyone else of equal value - no Angel is worth rooting for - conflict of interest!
Damn, nailing this girl last night was like nailing a kid...oops, too much info, please don't call Chris Hansen at Dateline NBC (me, early Feb 08)
