He was signed before Bedard was aquired. Perhaps even before Silva was signed, so they might have just wanted a back up plan to be sure.

An extremely horrible back up plan, but nevertheless.

Meanwhile, Soriano is throwing bullpen sessions at ST and preparing to become a premier closer for one of the best teams in the NL.......

You would think they would have used RRS or Baek as the backup plan instead of Ho.

There are probably 10 LL regulars who could out pitch him after a few month's of working out. Probably not, but I hate Ho (the player, not the person).

Ho pitched Sunday
against the D-Backs. He gave up 3 runs. His opponent gave up 4. So technically, in his last Mariners start, he outdueled Brandon Webb. That's the only good memory I have. So godspeed, Horacio. May you find a new place in the NL to suck.
