OT: Terrelle Pryor
Okay, not exactly baseball related, but at least sports related.
I bring it up because it seems to be a lot like the Bedard situation where it just will not end and you have no idea of whats going on from day to day.
As an Oregon fan, I 'm just ready for this to be over. I'm firmly on the Darron Thomas bandwagon for QB, and am more excited about Pryor's potential contributions on the b-ball court than on the gridiron (Thomas is by far the superior passer). I don't really think he's much better than Thomas or Harper, Oregon fans seem to just be freaked because of his #1 ranking.
I put it up here to see if any college football fans have any comment. I guess I just find it ironic that two of my three favorite teams are going through almost the exact same situation. In the cases of both Bedard and Pryor, just end it already.
BTW, even though I am an Oregon fan, Pryor is dumb if he doesn't go to Michigan. He starts there tomorrow. At Oregon, I honestly don't think he beats out Thomas.

Pryor's not coming
You're right though - Michigan seems like the obvious choice, especially given that he is a talented athlete and Michigan is going to run the spread with Rodriguez.
From the sounds of it, Ohio State is the team to beat however.
This almost seems like the Hairston situation four years ago when Oregon stole him at the last second by whisking him out to Eugene on a private jet. Oh to be a fan of Nike U... at least you guys can never complain about donor support! =)

I am a recruiting writer
That being said, I don't want to see him at Oregon because 1) I went to ASU and don't want to deal with another mobile quarterback like Dixon and 2) He will become a star at Michigan.
He doesn't seem like a primadonna and seems to be very savvy when it comes to the media. I guess there are a lot of parallels to the Bedard situation - it will end when it ends.

You're so right...
But I've also come to realize they'll always let us down, they're built to tear an ACL.

I like it.
Maybe do like the Rays are doing with their FO - every time a front office employee uses the word "Devil" when talking about the team, they throw a dollar in a jar and at the end of the season they're giving the proceeds to charity. Maybe every time someone uses a dead meme they could paypal you a dollar and once a month we could donate that to some charity or something.
Or maybe I'm thinking about this too much.

Pryor
I'm a Penn State alum, so I'm sure I'll be told I'm biased here. But, I follow this stuff pretty closely and what I'm hearing is that right now Ohio State is the leader and Penn State is #2 and gaining a ton of ground. Him delaying his decision favored Penn State more than anyone. Michigan wasn't in at until they hired Rodriguez, and they seem to make a lot of sense, but they are slipping right now. Oregon is pretty unlikely because of his family situation and him not wanting to be so far from home. Personally, I still think he ends up at Ohio State. But, don't believe all these people who are saying it's down to OSU and Michigan, because it's not true.
