greatest original/cover combination in music history?
I, for whatever it's worth to y'all, nominate "The Man Who Sold The World" by David Bowie -- and, of course, the acoustic rendition that Nirvana performed during their MTV Unplugged in New York set -- as its a melodic, yet dispirted song about reflecting upon one's life.
Well, I'm goddamn curious as to which songs are on everyone's lists.
In any case, however, it's doubtful that this topic will make any of y'all forget about Adam Jones, George Sherrill, and a slew of prospects (i.e., Chris Tillman, Tony Butler, & Kameron Mickolio) being dealt to the Baltimore Orioles for Erik Bedard.
That's life, though.
